Epiphany Gallery is proud to present Through the Lens, a dynamic photography exhibition highlighting the unique perspectives and artistic voices of a talented group of visual storytellers. The exhibit features powerful photographic works by Tony Guerry, Dawna-Diamond Brothers, and Karen Shields Smith, along with other gifted photographers whose imagery speaks to the human experience in all its complexity and beauty. From intimate portraits and striking street scenes to abstract compositions and nature-inspired visuals, Through the Lens - A Photography Showcase is a celebration of photography as both an expressive art form and a tool for storytelling. Visitors to the gallery will encounter a range of themes, including cultural identity, self-reflection, spiritual insight, resilience, and everyday wonder. Each piece has been thoughtfully selected to contribute to the overarching narrative of the exhibit: that photography is more than just an image—it is an invitation to feel, question, remember, and connect. Whether through bold color, black-and-white contrast, or experimental framing, the featured artists each bring their own visual language to the exhibit. Through the Lens - A Photography Showcase will be on display from July 2 through August 12, 2025, during regular gallery hours.A special Artist Reception will be held on Friday, July 18 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering guests an opportunity to meet the photographers, engage in conversation, and celebrate the creative process behind each body of work. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served at the reception. Located in the heart of Downtown Garland, Epiphany Gallery is dedicated to showcasing diverse and inspiring voices across the visual arts.
